Upperdog

In 2024 Kika Ilegems created and presented within Comp. Marius ‘ONCE’, her bachelor project with her father and Marius face Herwig Ilegems, thereby immediately taking the step into the professional field.
The refined visual language and love of working on location, the physical use of space, the sense of humor and a deep dedication to the work are values Comp. Marius recognizes in the work of this young dancer. This collaboration will continue in ‘Upperdog’ (working title), her graduation project at the Antwerp Conservatory, alongside performer/musician Lukas Rys.
